The BVA has a library collection, specializing mainly in al-Andalus and the three cultures, which at present consists of around 2,000 books and collections of journals, as listed in the Catalogue.
SERVICES AND PUBLIC ACCESS:

Reading room:
Users must show their I.D. card and fill in a reader’s profile.

Lending:
Users must show their I.D. card and an Andalusian Public Libraries Network Reader’s card. They are also required to fill in a reader’s profile. Books must be returned within fifteen days and this period is renewable for another ten, provided no other reader has reserved the book.

Inter-library loan:
According to current regulations, some books may be consulted only in the library, and these are marked clearly in the register and on the card.

Timetable for consultation in the reading room:
Monday to Friday, from 4.00 to 8.00 pm. Closed on public holidays.

Friends of the Library:
Upon request, users can join the "Friends of the BVA” and make suggestions for new acquisitions, participate directly in the choice of works to be discussed in our Cycle "Reading at the BVA", and extend the loan period of any books they need. Users can apply by contacting BibliotecaVA@.com, where they can find the form which applicants must fill in.
